Our Chapter Chain of Command
Meet the Dedicated Veterans Who Lead Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association® Chapter 40-2.
Chapter 40-2 created our “Old Line” motto from the steadfast history of Maryland’s "Old Line State" based on the 1776 American Revolutionary War Battle of Long Island. During this time, while fighting nearly 2,000 British forces, both Pennsylvania and Delaware defense lines collapsed and retreated leaving only a regiment of Maryland soldiers of around 250 Soldiers to cover the retreat. By defending the American withdrawal from Long Island, the Maryland Line saved the Continental Army from annihilation in the first major battle of the war. Under our logo we have Probatur In Proelio meaning “Proven in Battle”
